There are three ways to apply for Food Stamps:
After you submit your application, you or a member of your household will need to be interviewed by DFCS.
You‘ll find out if you qualify for Food Stamps within 30 days after you submit your application.

If your public assistance case was recently closed and you have children, you’ll continue getting Food Stamps for three months. After these first three months, you must apply so that you can continue to get food stamps.
