PeachCare for Kids

Do your children need health insurance?

Quick Facts
What is it?
PeachCare for Kids is a state government health insurance program for uninsured children who don’t qualify for Medicaid.

NOTE: The PeachCare program is not reviewing applications at this time, as they are waiting for new funding to be approved. Clients can submit applications, which will be added to a waiting list and be attended to should new funding be approved.

What do my children get?
Free or low-cost health coverage including:
  • primary care
  • preventive care
  • specialist care
  • vision care
  • dental care
  • hospitalization
  • emergency room care
  • prescription medications
  • mental health care
How long do my children get it?
Your children can get PeachCare for Kids as long as they still qualify but you may need to recertify. 'Recertify' means that you’ll need to show the PeachCare office that your children still qualify. You'll get a notice in the mail when you need to recertify.

Look Out
