  • Are pregnant or recently gave birth
  • Are a U.S. citizen or legal alien
  • Have less than $1,000 in resources
  • Have a qualifying income (see the table below)

For example, let’s say you're pregnant and have one child who is eight. If your monthly household income is $2,934 or less, you'll likely qualify for Right from the Start Medicaid, while your child will likely qualify for Right from the Start Medicaid if you earn $1,467 or less per month.
